Description: Foster care is a pipeline for the Commercial and Sexual Exploitation of Children. In San Diego County alone, it generates over $800 million each year! This new survivor-informed training is specifically designed for foster parents, relative caregivers, and group home staff as a first step in combating the commercial sexual exploitation of children in California. We are working to raise awareness of the crisis at hand and increase your ability to identify commercially sexually exploited children. Registration will close on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 7 am ***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the online platform called Zoom. Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend. The link to attend this class will be provided at registration.
