Online | Part 1 – Helping Traumatized Children Heal Key Principles and Skills for Resource Parents
A 2 Part Series
Instructors: Glenn R. Schiraldi, Ph.D., Lt. Colonel (USAR, Ret.)
Description: Trauma, especially childhood trauma, predicts a bewildering array of psychological, medical, and functional problems, including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, addictions, and post‐traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Prepared Resource Parents (foster/kin/adoptive) can do much to help children heal from toxic childhood stress, become emotionally resilient, and break intergenerational patterns of trauma.
Join us for a 2 part series with trauma specialist Dr. Glenn Schiraldi to explore highly effective principles and skills that every Resource Parent can learn and apply. These same principles and skills can also benefit Resource Parents who themselves carry hidden wounds from childhood or adult trauma.
