Online | Options Support Group- Meaningful Visitation
Meets every 1st Wednesday of each month
**No meeting in January, July – September and December 2024*

(The Options for Recovery Perinatal Program is for children ages 0 to 60 months who are drug and/or alcohol exposed and/or HIV positive. Options Caregivers receive 35 hours of specialized training and qualify for 48 hours of monthly respite. Topic: Meaningful Visitation- We will focus on ways to keep visits child-centered and meaningful for both foster children and the birth parents. Discussing the importance of visitation, understanding the developmental needs of the foster children, and how important it is for the foster children to have positive relationships with their birth family. We will also identify the roles and responsibilities of those planning the visits.
***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the online platform called Zoom. Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.
