According to Humor, Play and Laughter: Stress – Proofing Life with your Kids, parenting children does not have to be a stressful experience. In fact, parents who lighten up and laugh with their families can be more productive by using humor to ease conflict, deflect hostility, and create a feeling of well-being in the household.
Plus, it is said that a sense of humor is one of the most important human qualities. Humor is not only good for your health physically and emotionally, but it also reinforces your relationships with your family, your friends and your coworkers.
Come learn about the importance of humor and play in raising children.The workshop will also include exploring recent discoveries and research regarding the social significance of humor, laughter and play in human physical and mental health.
