Much of a child’s behavior, whether positive or negative has to do with their ability to communicate their needs. This class will introduce the basics of pre-verbal language also known as “baby signing”. The class will teach  foster and kinship parents the importance of teaching their little ones how to sign to communicate their needs, wants and fears. We will go over the fundamental baby signs, compare baby signs and American Sign Language and understand the benefits of teaching infants and young children how to sign.
