Description: Tools are part of our daily lives in order to function. We use cars to get to work, email to communicate with work colleagues and cell phones or Facebook to connect with family and friends.
In parenting, having tools is just as important when disciplining children. The key is to have a “Discipline Toolbox” full of tools that you can pull out and try; and if they don’t work, you can put them back in the box and try them another day.
This workshop will give caregivers helpful tips and strategies to be able to discipline children more effectively. By understanding what is causing the behavior, caregivers will have a much easier time knowing which tool to pull out of their discipline toolbox.
Please note, no childcare is provided or available onsite. Do not bring babies or children to class. Thank you!
