The California Bar Foundation believes everyone should be aware of their legal rights and responsibilities. The have partnered with the California Bar Association to create a publication, When You Turn 18: A Survival Guide for Teenagers, which all participants will receive. The workshop will cover subjects such as When You reach the Age of Majority, Moving Out, Laws Young Drivers Should Know, Alcohol and the Law, Renting, Working, Crimes an Consequences, Filing Taxes, Protecting Your Identity, Sex and the Law, and many more. We will also discuss the different ways some laws are applied to foster children.
