 umatic event in their lives. With growing awareness about the scale and sc
 ope of traumatic experiences\, stakeholders and others are increasingly re
 cognizing the need to be “trauma‐informed.” By the end of this works
 hop participants will have the ability to understand trauma\, the differe
 nt types of trauma\, the causes and effects of trauma\, develop communica
 tion skills to navigate challenging situations with individuals who have e
 xperienced trauma to build trust and rapport\, learn strategies to de‐es
 calate situations\, and more.\n***Please Note: This class will be facilita
