 by Dr. Joseph Crumbley for Kinship Caregivers)\nThis session focuses on ho
 w kinship caregivers can minimize the trauma of loss children experience w
 hen separated from their birth parents. The sharing of loss and grief betw
 een children and their caregiver is highlighted as a strength of kinship f
 amilies. Parents will learn to identify the emotions and feelings from whi
 ch children are recovering and healing\, explain why relatives and kin can
  be more effective in the healing process\, and develop approaches in ass
 isting children to heal and be resilient while in kinship care.\n Registr
