DESCRIPTION:To have successful transitions\, it is important to always crea
 te a trauma informed plan for welcoming a child into their new home. Welc
 oming a child into their new home is one of the most important\, exciting 
 and scary experiences of the child’s and family’s foster and/or adopti
 on journey. We will discuss ways to make this a positive experience every 
 step of the way\, from being just matched\, to fully integrating the child
 /children into your family life. We will discuss introducing your family t
 hrough a welcome book\, preparing your home and family and ideas to make a
  child feel welcome before\, during and after their transition into your
  home.\nRegistration will close on Monday\, August 15\, 2022\, at 7am\n***
