 eader: MaryJo Meer\n\nSupportive Strategies for Resource Homes- A trauma-
 informed training and support class for resource parents\, including foste
 r\, kinship\, and adoptive families. This group is a place to come as you 
 are\, connect with people who understand the journey\, share real experien
 ces\, and learn practical tools that can help at home. Our goal is for car
 egivers to leave feeling supported\, encouraged\, and less alone.\n\nTopic
 : Many Children in care have developed self-protective strategies that ha
 ve helped them survive abuse and neglect. These strategies can significant
 ly influence how they navigate new relationships and form attachments\, im
 pacting all areas of life. However\, with a loving home and therapeutic pa
 renting\, we can help children feel safe enough to let go of their strateg
 ies so that they can build secure attachments and have a brighter future.\
 n\nFor our training &amp\; support meetings\, all participants must have t
 heir cameras on\, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. Th
 is requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection amo
 ng participants\, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our commun
 ity. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras
  on will not be able to join the sessions.\n***Please Note: This class wil
 l be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and access to a c
 omputer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\nWe kindly request
  that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privac
