DESCRIPTION:Description: Children who have experienced trauma may have last
 ing impacts that affect their relationships and emotions. They may percei
 ve certain situations as dangerous and rightfully respond to triggers with
  fear or anger without understanding why. Children may internalize troubli
 ng feelings\, making healthy attachment and emotion management\nchallengin
 g. That’s why it’s important for caregivers to use social-emotional le
 arning and parenting skills that help children develop emotional intellige
 nce and healthy relationship skills.\n\n\n\n\nThe Foster-Adoptive Parents 
 Toolshop® training series is a comprehensive 30+ hour evidence-based\, tr
 auma informed parenting curriculum for foster and kinship caregivers and a
 doptive parents. The entire series will be offered over the next 8 months
 \, September 2022\, June 2023 and will be taught by the curriculum’s aut
 hor Jody Johnston Pawel\, LSW\, CFLE\, CTSS.\nWhile each individual worksh
 op is valuable as a stand-alone workshop\, when combined they create a par
 enting system called The Universal Blueprint® for Parenting Success. You 
 can use this universal system to prevent common parenting challenges and p
 lan personalized responses and solutions to those that arise\, based on th
 e child\, circumstance\, and family involved. The series offers an overvi
 ew of the system and its tools\, plus the in-depth workshops in order\, so
  they build on each other.\nDon’t worry if you can’t take them all\, y
 ou can take one\, some or as many as you wish! The Series will be offered
  on the 2nd and 4th Mondays from September 2022 to June 2023 from 3-6pm. P
 lease note there are some 2- part trainings. You must attend both sessions
