  Caring for a child or youth often involves navigating a complex health sy
 stem. This three‑part learning series is designed to support resource pa
 rents\, foster parents\, caregivers\, and the professionals who work along
 side them. The sessions provide essential information to help caregivers u
 nderstand the Medi‑Cal system and the services available to children and
  youth in care. Social workers and staff who support caregivers may also f
 ind this series valuable for strengthening their understanding of availabl
 e benefits and helping families access needed services.\nPart 1: Understan
 ding Medi‑Cal for Children and Youth in Care\nThis introductory session 
 provides an overview of Medi‑Cal\, CalAIM  (Medi-Cal Transformation)\, 
 including how it works for the general population\, what is unique for fos
 ter youth\, and how benefits continue under the Medi‑Cal for Former Fost
 er Youth (FFY) Program. Participants will learn key terminology\, eligibil
 ity basics\, and how to navigate coverage.\nParticipants must register for
  individual sessions. Each session stands alone\, and attendees will benef
 it even if they participate in only one.\nTo register for this series\, ad

 Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Intern
 et access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to
  attend.\nFor our support group meetings\, all participants must have thei
 r cameras on\, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This
  requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among
  participants\, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our communit
 y. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras o
 n will not be able to join the support group sessions.\nWe kindly request
