Support Group Leader: Carrie Collins

Topic: Defined loosely as the years between eight or nine to twelve, the “tween” years or pre-adolescence is a time of monumental shifts in your child’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. It’s a time of growing independence but it can also be scary for kids. To help, you must understand the changes tweens experience physically and emotionally.  This workshop will discuss the crucial stage of pre-adolescence/ tweens that precedes the teenage years.
