 l guide Resource Parents in the use of Psychotropic Medication with childr
 en in foster care. Areas of discussion will be the basic principles of psy
 chotropic medication use\, what the laws are\, the importance of a treatme
 nt plan\, getting court approval\, and informed consent. We will discuss t
 he importance of healing from trauma in the journey to improved mental hea
 lth.\n***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.
 \n Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is re
 quired to attend.\nFor our support group meetings\, all participants must 
 have their cameras on\, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or 
 not. This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connect
 ion among participants\, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our
  community. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their 
 cameras on will not be able to join the support group sessions.\nWe kindly
  request that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. Fo
