 r Parent Association- offers foster\, kinship\, and adoptive caregivers a 
 comfortable space to learn\, connect\, and feel supported. Through practic
 al education\, helpful resources\, and meaningful conversation\, participa
 nts can strengthen their caregiving skills\, build community with others w
 ho understand the foster care journey\, and earn training credits on topic
 s such as trauma-informed care\, behavior management\, and positive discip
 line.\n\nTopic: Caring for children and families who have experienced trau
 ma can be deeply meaningful-but it can also take a toll. This class offers
  resource parents a supportive space to better understand compassion fatig
 ue\, secondary trauma\, and vicarious trauma\, and how these experiences c
 an affect emotional well-being over time.\n\nParticipants will gain practi
 cal tools for recognizing the signs of compassion fatigue\, protecting the
 ir mental health\, and building realistic strategies for renewal and resil
 ience. Whether you are new to caregiving or have been supporting children 
 for years\, this class will help you care for yourself with the same compa
 ssion and commitment you offer to others.\n\nFor our training &amp\; suppo
 rt meetings\, all participants must have their cameras on\, regardless of 
 whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to en
 courage full engagement and connection among participants\, fostering a mo
 re supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individual
 s unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the
  sessions.\n***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom pla
 tform.\n Internet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone
