  Group: Understanding RFA and the Written Directives
DESCRIPTION:Meets every 2nd Friday of the Month\n **No Meeting February\,
   July &amp\; December**\nSupport Group Leader: MaryAnn Paschal\n\nThis i
 s an ongoing support group to help all types of caregivers\, relatives\, 
 non‐related extended family members (NREFMs)\, and community members nav
 igate the RFA process in their caregiving journey. Discussions will includ
 e RFA pre/post-approval requirements\, how to comply with the County/State
  regulations once certified as a resource parent\, community resources av
 ailable for children and caregivers\, and how resource parents can build/e
 xpand their support network. Being a resource parent is a rewarding experi
 ence that might come with questions\, so if you want to learn more about t
 hese topics or feel that you can benefit from talking to others with simi
 lar experiences\, please join us.\n\nTopic: Have you taken a look at the n
 ew Written Directives 8.0? If you haven’t had a chance\, join us for an 
 overview of the changes you need to be aware of. To avoid allegations\, it
  is important and crucial for you to keep up‐to‐date with state regula
 tions governing Foster Family Homes and Resource Families. This is an oppo

 roup meetings\, all participants must have their cameras on\, regardless

  encourage full engagement and connection among participants\, fostering a
  more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individ
