She also sees outpatients at the UCSD/RADY Adolescent and Y oung Adult (AYA) Medicine Clinic. She serves as Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine Medical Student Rotation and Sub‐Internship fo r the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She is also an adoptive parent.\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\n\n \;\nDescri ption: Led by local experts\, this training will provide a brief recap of the neurobiology that influences behaviors during adolescence\, the impact of childhood trauma on the brain and behavior\, as well as a variety of s trategies for working with early‐\, mid‐\, and late‐adolescent aged kids.
