DESCRIPTION:Meets every 2nd Thursday of the month\n**No Meeting in December
 **\nSupport Group Leader: MaryJo Meer\n\nTopic: Teens want to pilot their
  own planes. In their efforts to keep control\, some parents can become in
 effective and invite more rebellion with over-controlling parenting. Paren
 ts are scared to turn over the controls for fear their child is not ready 
 for the responsibility or may get hurt or fail. You can actually learn to 
 copilot with your teen if you learn the Positive Discipline skills of a ki
 nd and firm parent. Be available for support and guidance while encouragin
 g your teen to be a skilled and responsible pilot.\n***Please Note: This c
 lass will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and acces
 s to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\nFor our s
 upport group meetings\, all participants must have their cameras on\, reg
 ardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is des
 igned to encourage full engagement and connection among participants\, fos
 tering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that
  individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able 
 to join the support group sessions.\nWe kindly request that participants a
 void using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy\, we recommend usi
