DESCRIPTION:Meets every 2nd Thursday of the month\n**No Meeting in December
 **\nSupport Group Leader: MaryJo Meer\n\nTopic: Teens want to pilot their
  own planes. In their efforts to keep control\, some parents can become in
 effective and invite more rebellion with over-controlling parenting. Paren
 ts are scared to turn over the controls for fear their child is not ready 
 for responsibility or may get hurt or fail. You can learn to copilot with 
 your teen if you learn the Positive Discipline skills of a kind and firm p
 arent. Be available for support and guidance while encouraging your teen t
 o be a skilled and responsible pilot.\n***Please Note: This class will be 
 facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and access to a comput
 er/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\nFor our support group 
 meetings\, all participants must have their cameras on\, regardless of wh
 ether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to enco
 urage full engagement and connection among participants\, fostering a more
  supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals 
 unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the s
 upport group sessions.\nWe kindly request that participants avoid using di
