DESCRIPTION:Part 6 of the Mindfulness Series\nDescription: Mindfulness is t
 he practice of being present to one’s experience with loving attention\,
  which studies have shown helps reduce stress and promotes wellbeing. In t
 his class students will learn how mindfulness can be a powerful tool in re
 solving anger and interpersonal conflicts. Mindfulness acknowledges that c
 onflict and anger happen in all relationships and that the key to bringing
  healing to hurt hearts lies within us. Students will be guided through mi
 ndfulness practices that lead to inner harmony and loving and harmonious r
 elationships.\n\nSpecial Guest Presenter: Bettina Heitmann\, Mindfulness M
 editation Teacher\nBettina Heitmann is a graduate of the 2‐year Mindfuln
 ess Meditation Teacher Certification Program\, sponsored by the University
  of California Berkeley Greater Good Science Center. She has practiced med
 itation and yoga for 20 years and finds these practices to be hugely benef
 icial for people living in this fast paced and high stress society. Bettna
  was a social worker with Child Welfare Services\, including the bilingual
  Adoptions Unit\, and non‐profit social service agencies for 13 years. S
 he has a particular interest in bringing mindfulness teachings to benefit
