DESCRIPTION:Meets every 3rd Monday of the month\n&nbsp\;\n\nMindfulness Mon
 days- These trainings offer resource parents a welcoming\, trauma-informed
  space to find support\, practice somatic tools\, strengthen connection an
 d attachment\, and care for themselves while caring for children.\n\nTopic
 : Transitions in the foster care system can be extremely difficult for ch
 ildren. We want to make transitions easier for them to manage. To do this\
 , we need tools and strategies to help them. Through this series on Transi
 tions\, we will look at different times of transition in our children’s
  journey through foster care and learn how we can help make these times of
  transition easier for our children to navigate.\nChange of Placement- The
  ultimate goal is for participants to understand the complex process of Pl
 acement.  Participants will understand the importance of making sure they
  receive all information available about the child to lessen the possibili
 ty of disruption of Placement\, and the importance of maintaining any medi
 cal\, educational\, visitation\, etc services that are in place for the ch
 ild.\nFor our training &amp\; support meetings\, all participants must hav
 e their cameras on\, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not.
  This requirement is designed to encourage full engagement and connection 
 among participants\, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our com
 munity. Please note that individuals unable to participate with their came
 ras on will not be able to join the sessions.\n***Please Note: This class 
 will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and access to 
 a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\nWe kindly requ
 est that participants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For pri
