 r February**\nLeader: Valentine "Tina" Carmichael\n\nMindfulness Mondays-
  These trainings offer resource parents a welcoming\, trauma-informed spac
 e to find support\, practice somatic tools\, strengthen connection and att
 achment\, and care for themselves while caring for children.\n\nTopic: Ca
 ring for a child or youth often involves navigating a complex health syste
 m. This three‑part learning series is designed to support resource paren
 ts\, foster parents\, caregivers\, and the professionals who work alongsid
 e them. The sessions provide essential information to help caregivers unde
 rstand the Medi‑Cal system and the services available to children and yo
 uth in care. Social workers and staff who support caregivers may also find
  this series valuable for strengthening their understanding of available b
 enefits and helping families access needed services.\nPart 3: Enhanced Car
 e Management (ECM) &amp\; Community Supports (CS)\nThe final session provi
 des an overview of Enhanced Care Management and Community Supports—speci
 alized benefits available through Managed Care Plans that can offer additi
 onal assistance to foster youth and their caregivers. Participants will le
 arn how these services work\, how to access them\, and how they may suppor
 t stability and well‑being. A Q&amp\;A segment will address questions re
 lated to access and eligibility.\nFor our training &amp\; support meetings
 \, all participants must have their cameras on\, regardless of whether the
 y are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to encourage ful
 l engagement and connection among participants\, fostering a more supporti
 ve atmosphere within our community. Please note that individuals unable to
  participate with their cameras on will not be able to join the sessions.\
