DESCRIPTION:Parents are as responsible for children's mental health as phys
 ical health and safety. This class highlights what contributes to good men
 tal health and resilience including mental health first aide. Some risk a
 nd complicating factors particularly associated with child trauma and fost
 er care contribute to common mental health difficulties and diagnoses. Par
 ticipants will learn and practice their parts in preventing and treating m
 ental health issues. Specifically\, the class will address suicide\, asse
 ssment\, prevention\, and safety planning.\nRegistration will close on Fri
