DESCRIPTION:Instructors: Representatives from Scripps Mercy Hospital’s We
 ll‐Being Center\nThis presentation is designed to equip foster parents w
 ith essential tools for recognizing and responding to mental health issues
  in the children and adolescents in their care. The goal is to provide pra
 ctical knowledge that will help them identify signs of emotional distress\
 , depression\, anxiety\, and other common disorders. Through examples and 
 interactive exercises\, participants will learn how to address emotional c
 rises\, provide appropriate\nsupport\, and when to seek professional help.
  By the end\, foster parents will be better prepared to create a safe and 
 supportive environment that promotes the emotional well‐being of their c
