Join us to receive criteria for evaluating “go od” parenting advice\, discover which popular or common parenting practi ces “work” well in the short run but can create huge problems long‐t erm\, and learn a simple “prevention formula” you can use to prevent o r stop problematic behavior while fostering internal motivation.\n\n\nRegi stration will close on Monday\, February 24\, 2025\, at 12 pm\nThe Foster- Adoptive Parents Toolshop® training series is a comprehensive 30+ hour ev idence-based\, trauma informed parenting curriculum for foster and kinship caregivers and adoptive parents. The entire series will be offered over the next 8 months\, September 2022\, June 2023 and will be taught by the c urriculum’s author Jody Johnston Pawel\, LSW\, CFLE\, CTSS.\nWhile each individual workshop is valuable as a stand-alone workshop\, when combined they create a parenting system called The Universal Blueprint® for Parent ing Success. You can use this universal system to prevent common parenting challenges and plan personalized responses and solutions to those that ar ise\, based on the child\, circumstance\, and family involved. The series offers an overview of the system and its tools\, plus the in-depth worksh ops in order\, so they build on each other.\nDon’t worry if you can’t take them all\, you can take one\, some or as many as you wish!
