DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Honor Medina\, LMFT\n\nDescription: Caring for chil
 dren and families who have experienced trauma is rewarding but can also be
  emotionally taxing to our well‐being (secondary trauma). Attendees will
  explore the stages of overwhelm and burnout\, identify symptoms to watch 
 out for\, and learn how to adjust boundaries and self‐care to mitigate t
 he potential impact of secondary trauma. Attendees will be able to\, diff
 erentiate between overwhelm and stages of burnout\, identify risk factors 
 for secondary trauma\, identify protective/mitigating factors related to s
 econdary trauma\, and lastly\, develop their own conscious oversight of cu
 rrent stress symptoms\, risk factors\, protective factors\, and coping  
 tools.                    \n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&
