SUMMARY:Online | Food Fight! Picky Eaters & Trauma Related Food Issues
DESCRIPTION:All children can experience common eating issues. Children with
  a trauma history can have other more‐complex food issues\, such as: hoa
 rding\, eaƟng disorders\, and lack of table manners. Attend this workshop
  to learn simple\, practical\, fun things you can do to encourage healthy 
 eating and prevent or respond to eating issues.\n\n\n\nGuest Instructor: J

 ng issues like being a picky\, slow\, or distracted eater\, having “eye
 s bigger than their stomachs” or food allergies that can mimic symptoms 
 of clinical disorders. Children with a trauma history can have additional 
 more‐complex food issues\, such as: hoarding\, eating disorders\, and la
 ck of eating skills or table manners. Foster‐ adoptive‐kinship caregiv
 ers need to have respectful\, trauma‐informed responses to both common a
 nd trauma‐related eating and food issues. This workshop offers simple\,
  practical\, fun things you can do to encourage healthy eating and to prev
 ent or redirect common parenting issues related to eating and food. Bring 
 your examples and creative ideas to share.\nRegistration will close on Mon
