SUMMARY:Online | First Aid / CPR
DESCRIPTION:These classes include First Aid for infants\, children\, and ad
 ults and CPR. They are co-sponsored by the Foster Care Education Program a
 nd the local foster parent association. They can be used to meet the licen
 sing requirement but not the county mandate for the state's 8-hour ongoing
  training mandate. Call the phone number listed for the location you wish 
 to attend.\n\nFirst Aid and CPR classes are only for Resource Parent Appl
 icants\, Resource Approved Families\, Licensed County Foster/Adoptive Pare
 nts\, and Respite Caregivers who will be serving Resource Parents directly
  through the County’s Child Welfare Services\, Foster and Adoptive Resou
 rce Family Services.\n\n 	Registration is required as classes will be held
  online through Zoom.\n 	If you can no longer attend\, please cancel your 
 reservation to open up the spot for someone else.\n 	These classes are for
  adults 18 years of age or older.\n 	If you are a Resource Parent Applican
 t\, please ensure that you have attended the Pre-Approval\, TIPS classes b
 efore registering for First Aid/CPR.\n 	County Resource Parents are eligib
 le to take First Aid/CPR through FAKCE\, only once every two years. A Reso
 urce Parents can take First Aid/CPR no more than 6 months before the end o
 f their CPR certification date\n\nChildcare not available - please do not 
 bring babies or children to class\n&nbsp\;\nPer the requirements of the Fi
 rst Aid/CPR training provider\,  no participants will be admitted once th
 e class has begun at 6 pm. Be sure to log in early to ensure entrance to t
 he class.\n&nbsp\;\nRegistration will close on Monday\, February 10\, 2025
  at 7 am \n&nbsp\;\n***Please Note: This class will be facilitated on the
  Zoom platform.\nInternet access and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/sm
 artphone is required to attend.\nWe kindly request that participants avoid
  using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy\, we recommend using t
 he blur feature instead.\nYou cannot take this class in a vehicle.\nThe Zo
