DESCRIPTION:The difference between encouragement and praise is that praise 
 teaches dependency on external feedback\, while encouragement teaches inte
 rnal validation. Based on Conscious Discipline by Dr. Becky Bailey\, this 
 workshop will help Resource Parents to raise children to not be dependent 
 on praise from others in developing their sense of self. Instead\, this wo
 rkshop will help Resource Parents to focus on encouragement and the long-t
 erm effects encouragement has\, such as more independent\, motivated\, and
  self‐evaluative children.\nRegistration will close on Monday\, November
