DESCRIPTION:The difference between encouragement and praise is that praise 
 teaches dependency on external feedback\, while encouragement teaches inte
 rnal validation. Based on Conscious Discipline by Dr. Becky Bailey\, this\
 nworkshop will help Resource Parents to raise children to not be dependent
  on praise from others in developing their sense of self. Instead\, this w
 orkshop will help Resource Parents to focus on encouragement and the long-
 term effects encouragement has\, such as more independent\, motivated\, an
 d self‐evaluative children.\nRegistration will close on Monday\, April 1
