 t-Teens (12-21 years)
DESCRIPTION:Description: In this workshop\, you will engage your creativity
  while learning about typical adolescent development\, typical challenging
  behaviors they might show\, the developmental purpose those behaviors ser
 ve\, and how to respond in ways that support their healthy development. Yo
 u’ll also learn about the symptoms of child abuse and neglect you might 
 see in teens. You’ll walk away with tips for typical teen behavior\, a s
 ystem for identifying the cause of problematic behavior\, and knowing what
  red flags your teen is showing and what to do about them.\n\n\nThe Foster
 -Adoptive Parents Toolshop® training series is a comprehensive 30+ hour e
 vidence-based\, trauma informed parenting curriculum for foster and kinshi
 p caregivers and adoptive parents. The entire series will be offered over
  the next 8 months\, September 2022\, June 2023 and will be taught by the 
 curriculum’s author Jody Johnston Pawel\, LSW\, CFLE\, CTSS.\nWhile each
  individual workshop is valuable as a stand-alone workshop\, when combined
  they create a parenting system called The Universal Blueprint® for Paren
 ting Success. You can use this universal system to prevent common parentin
 g challenges and plan personalized responses and solutions to those that a
 rise\, based on the child\, circumstance\, and family involved. The series
  offers an overview of the system and its tools\, plus the in-depth works
 hops in order\, so they build on each other.\nDon’t worry if you can’t
  take them all\, you can take one\, some or as many as you wish! The Serie
 s will be offered on the 2nd and 4th Mondays from September 2022 to June 
 2023 from 3-6pm. Please note there are some 2- part trainings. You must at
