This se ssion will focus on ages 6 ‐ 11 years old. Resource Families will also l earn when developmental delays or problematic behaviors are “development ally appropriate” or trauma‐related\, which will help with suggestions for how to respond to each.\n\nThe Foster-Adoptive Parents Toolshop® tra ining series is a comprehensive 30+ hour evidence-based\, trauma informed parenting curriculum for foster and kinship caregivers and adoptive parent s. The entire series will be offered over the next 8 months\, September 2 022\, June 2023 and will be taught by the curriculum’s author Jody Johns ton Pawel\, LSW\, CFLE\, CTSS.\nWhile each individual workshop is valuable as a stand-alone workshop\, when combined they create a parenting system called The Universal Blueprint® for Parenting Success. You can use this u niversal system to prevent common parenting challenges and plan personaliz ed responses and solutions to those that arise\, based on the child\, circ umstance\, and family involved. The series offers an overview of the syst em and its tools\, plus the in-depth workshops in order\, so they build on each other.\nDon’t worry if you can’t take them all\, you can take on e\, some or as many as you wish!
