DESCRIPTION:Guest Speaker: Dr. Jerel Ezell\n\nDr. Jerel is a professor\, so
 cial epidemiologist\, and Fulbright Scholar dedicated to addressing health
  disparities. He directs the Berkeley Center for Cultural Humility and lea
 ds Research Lateral\, a community lab focused on equity in health and soci
 al services. With a doctorate from the University of Chicago and an MPH fr
 om Columbia\, his work bridges research\, advocacy\, and practice\, helpin
 g families and professionals better understand the impact of culture\, com
 munity\, and systemic inequities on health and well-being.\nDescription: T
 his interactive training integrates cultural humility and trauma-informed 
 practice to help caregivers and professionals build stronger\, more respec
 tful relationships across cultural differences while effectively supportin
 g individuals who have experienced trauma. Participants will explore cultu
 ral humility as a lifelong practice that deepens self-awareness\, enhances
  active listening\, strengthens socioemotional intelligence\, and fosters 
 meaningful connections with people of diverse identities and backgrounds.\
