DESCRIPTION:According to the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard Uni
 versity\, a child who is living in an environment with supportive relation
 ships and consistent routines is more likely to develop well‐ functionin
 g biological systems\, including brain circuits\, that promote positive de
 velopment and lifelong health. However\, children who feel threatened or u
 nsafe may develop physiological responses and coping behaviors that are at
 tuned to the harsh conditions they are experiencing at the time\, at the l
 ong‐ term expense of physical and mental well‐being\, self-regulation\
