SUMMARY:Online | Child Development: Role of Sensory Perception
DESCRIPTION:Children with sensory processing disorders have difficulty pro
 cessing information from the senses: touch\, movement\, smell\, taste\, vi
 sion\, and hearing. We will explore the role of sensory perception in a ch
 ild’s growth and development. We will compare the traditional stages of 
 pre‐natal development and what impact teratogens may have upon developin
 g sensory systems. Learn how to identify delays and seek out services to m
 aximize the child’s potential. We will use activities to help caregivers
  experience first‐hand the impact of delays in sensory perception. Part
 icipants will also learn how adapt parenting techniques to meet your chil
 d’s sensory processing issues.\nRegistration will close on Tuesday\, Oct
