 heer\, family\, food\, and joy. For children in foster care\, conflicting 
 loyalties and lost dreams can often cause the holidays to be a difficult t
 ime. Feelings of sadness and loss can also be more heightened for youth in
  foster care\, which can cause an array of emotions and behaviors during t
 he holiday season. As a Resource Parent\, it is vital to understand your c
 hild's unique emotional experiences\, their amplified feelings of grief an
 d loss\, and the importance of providing a safe space for expression and v
 alidation. Learning about strategies for nurturing inclusivity and connect
 ion will help Resource Parents develop tools and insights on creating a su
 pportive and inclusive holiday environment blending past traditions and ne
