 flict Mediator whose expertise lies in the areas of performance managemen
 t\, diversity and inclusion and workplace violence.\n\n\nStereotypes are a
 n ingrained part of the thinking of most Americans. We make assumptions an
 d take actions regarding others who are different than we ourselves based
  on the "isms" and “bias” programmed into our minds when we were child
 ren. Denying our use of\nstereotypes is sincere since most of our biases a
 re unconscious and come into play in our thinking without recognition. Thi
 s seminar explores the impact of ethnocentric behavior on our ability to b
 uild effective cross‐cultural relationships and gives tips on how to av
 oid "cultural collisions" when dealing with diverse others. Come and discu
