DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Michelle McGowan\, Special Education Advocate\n\nMi
 chelle is a dedicated Special Education Advocate with over 20 years of exp
 erience supporting students with disabilities\, including Autism\, ADHD\, 
 Dyslexia\, Emotional Disturbance\, and Intellectual Impairment. She is als
 o involved in the District Attorney’s Juvenile Diversion Initiative\, wh
 ere she works to keep youth diploma-bound\, collaborates with schools to o
 verturn expulsions\, and empowers parents to understand their children’s
  educational rights.\n\nDescription: A strong IEP is one of the most impor
 tant tools for supporting student success. This workshop will help caregiv
 ers understand how to read and interpret an IEP\, write meaningful parent 
 input statements\, evaluate measurable goals\, and distinguish between acc
 ommodations and modifications. Participants will also learn how to prepare
  for productive IEP meetings and ensure services align with their child's
