ARC, or Attachment, Regulation, and Competency is a resilience-based comprehensive framework for intervention with children and teens exposed to complex trauma. ARC has been adapted for use with resource and relative caregivers of children who are in the foster care system.

ARC Reflections presents information about specific tools that resource parents can use to help children and teens learn to regulate, feel connected and build strengths. Resource parents can use these tools in their own lives too! In fact, any of us can use these tools.

ARC reflections seek to support: understanding how trauma may affect youth in their care, developing tools for managing the stress of caring for kids who have experienced trauma, learning about and using parenting skills that enhance the well-being, stability and permanency of the youth in their care; and retaining motivated and skilled resource parents. Curriculum created by The Annie E. Casey Foundation

Registration closes on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 7am
