  Children with medical complexity are a unique population with intensive m
 edical and social needs. The amount of commitment needed to care for these
  children will be much higher\, and specialized training will be required 
 in most cases. Resource parents must be willing to advocate for the child'
 s needs\, which include learning about medical needs and treatment\, going
  to meetings and therapies\, and working with the school system. Resource 
 parents can greatly benefit from having a support system\, having access t
 o resources\, and knowing how to navigate all the systems needed to care f
 or their kids. Join us for a conversation about how to navigate these syst
 ems and care for kids with high medical needs.\n***Please Note: This class
  will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and access to
  a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\nFor our suppo
 rt group meetings\, all participants must have their cameras on\, regardl
 ess of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designe
 d to encourage full engagement and connection among participants\, fosteri
 ng a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that ind
 ividuals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to j
