 youth who has a known or suspected history of being sexually abused\, you
  may feel confused about the impact of the abuse and uncertain about how y
 ou can help. However\, it is important to understand that children and you
 th who have been abused need to feel safe and loved in nurturing homes. As
  a parent or caregiver\, you can play a central role in your child’s hea
 ling process\, as well as in “building resilience\,” which strengthens
  your child’s ability to adapt to or cope with adversity. This class wil
 l discuss normal sexual development\, the special needs of sexualized chil
 dren\, recommended treatment for sexually abused children\, and accessing
  resources that can help in your child’s healing process.\n***Please Not
 e: This class will be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access 
 and access to a computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\n
 For our support group meetings\, all participants must have their cameras
  on\, regardless of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirem
 ent is designed to encourage full engagement and connection among particip
 ants\, fostering a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please
  note that individuals unable to participate with their cameras on will no
 t be able to join the support group sessions.\nWe kindly request that part
 icipants avoid using distracting virtual backgrounds. For privacy\, we rec
