 uries children can experience through maltreatment\, a child’s reactions
  to abuse or neglect can have lifelong and even intergenerational impacts.
  Childhood maltreatment can be linked to later physical\, psychological\, 
 and behavioral consequences as well as costs to society as a whole. Parent
 s need to be aware of these issues in order to help children heal and incr
 ease protection factors for these children.\n***Please Note: This class wi
 ll be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and access to a 
 computer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\nFor our support 
 group meetings\, all participants must have their cameras on\, regardless
  of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed t
 o encourage full engagement and connection among participants\, fostering 
 a more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that indivi
 duals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join
  the support group sessions.\nWe kindly request that participants avoid us
