 David Ambroz! This exclusive FREE one-day training event will provide reso
 urce parent participants (including kinship &amp\; adoptive) the opportuni
 ty to earn 5 hours of training that meet annual training hours needed for 
 Resource Family Approval.\n\n\n\nKeynote Speaker: David Ambroz\n\nFormer f
 oster youth\, national poverty and child welfare expert\, advocate and aut
 hor of A Place Called Home. He was recognized by President Obama as an Ame
 rican Champion of Change. Currently serving as the Head of Community Engag
 ement (West) for Amazon\, Ambroz previously led Corporate Social Responsib
 ility for Walt Disney Television\, and has served as president of the Los 
 Angeles City Planning Commission as well as a California Child Welfare Cou
 ncil member. After growing up homeless and then in foster care\, he gradua
 ted from Vassar College and later earned his J.D. from UCLA School of Law.
  He is a foster dad and lives in Los Angeles\, CA\n\n**All participants wi

 es to better support and connect with youth who have experienced trauma an
 d how they can play a vital role in the youth’s healing journey and help
  them achieve breakthrough outcomes such as living resilient and thriving

 ures such as the adult’s culture\, the children’s culture and the many
  other cultures that exist around us impact our behaviors and experiences
