DESCRIPTION:A More Knowledgeable You!\nFitness for Fostering Fridays will b
 e opportunities for Resource Parents to attend workshops mini‐ conferenc
 e style held on Fridays to help enhance their family's fitness and capacit
 y for fostering children from out of home placement. Workshops will be lea
 d by local\, state or national expert guest speakers.\nFitness for Fosteri
 ng Fridays is also an opportunity for Resource Parents to meet with other 
 families\, receive support and make long lasting connections. Resource Par
 ents will have the opportunity to attend workshops either in the morning\,
  afternoon or both if they choose.\n\nSession 2| Trauma and Motivation and
  Best Practices for Working with Foster Youth\nAs a former foster youth an
 d having become a guardian to her siblings\, Dr. Keating’s history in fo
 ster care has given her a passion for bringing awareness on how to better 
 support foster youth students to reach their fullest potential. This works
 hop will review the impact trauma has young individuals but how motivation
  and best practices from caregivers or that one individual can help to cha
 nge the trajectory of a youth’s life!\nGuest Speaker: Dr. Danisha Keatin
 g\n\n\nDanisha Keating\, CEO\, National Keynote Speaker\, and National‐S
 elling Author of "From Foster to Ph.D.: Letters from a Suitcase". Dr. Dani
 sha Keating was in the foster care system and a guardian to her siblings. 
 Her history in foster care has given her a passion for bringing awareness 
 on how to better support foster youth students and helping parents and pro
 fessionals change their trajectory.\n\nKey Details: \n\n 	Lunch from 11:3
