DESCRIPTION:**This training has been postponed- date TBA**\nThis workshop a
 ims to empower caregivers to discuss the value of higher education with th
 e youth in their care and provide ideas for how they can play an active ro
 le in supporting their youth to college. Because when they do\, research s
 hows that youth are 4 times more likely to pursue higher education. For ca
 regivers with youth in middle school or in the early high school grades\, 
 college can seem so far into the future that it can take secondary importa
 nce to more immediate concerns. Caregivers and youth will learn from campu
 s foster youth program staff the significance of early college exploration
 \, preparation\, and  key steps to help turn their dreams into degrees\nT
 his training is open to all Caregivers and they are encouraged to come wit
 h their Youth in 6th to 12th grade. \n** In the registration\, please comm
 ent in the "comment box" how many youth will attend with you.** \n\nBreak
