 MaryJo Meer\n\nTopic: The Federal Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act
  (CAPTA) requires each State to have provisions or procedures for requirin
 g certain individuals to report known or suspected instances of child abus
 e and neglect. This workshop will discuss the laws that designate the grou
 ps of professionals that are required to report cases of suspected child a
 buse and neglect and reporting by other persons\, the responsibilities of 
 institutions in making reports\, standards for making a report\, and the c
 onfidentiality of the reporter's identity.\n***Please Note: This class wil
 l be facilitated on the Zoom platform.\n Internet access and access to a c
 omputer/laptop/tablet/smartphone is required to attend.\nFor our support g
 roup meetings\, all participants must have their cameras on\, regardless 
 of whether they are seeking credit or not. This requirement is designed to
  encourage full engagement and connection among participants\, fostering a
  more supportive atmosphere within our community. Please note that individ
 uals unable to participate with their cameras on will not be able to join
