Participants will compare and contrast the different experiences they ha ve during the session to see for themselves what research says about the b enefits and pitfalls they could encounter with each. Prepare to have fun w hile learning the often‐surprising outcomes research has discovered!\n\n  \;\nThe Foster-Adoptive Parents Toolshop® training series is a compr ehensive 30+ hour evidence-based\, trauma informed parenting curriculum fo r foster and kinship caregivers and adoptive parents. The entire series wi ll be offered over the next 8 months\, September 2022\, June 2023 and wil l be taught by the curriculum’s author Jody Johnston Pawel\, LSW\, CFLE\ , CTSS.\nWhile each individual workshop is valuable as a stand-alone works hop\, when combined they create a parenting system called The Universal Bl ueprint® for Parenting Success. You can use this universal system to prev ent common parenting challenges and plan personalized responses and soluti ons to those that arise\, based on the child\, circumstance\, and family i nvolved. The series offers an overview of the system and its tools\, plus the in-depth workshops in order\, so they build on each other.\nDon’t w orry if you can’t take them all\, you can take one\, some or as many as you wish!
