Series of 5 workshops (3 hours every Wednesday) January 3, 10, 17, 24 & 31

Instructor: Denise Phipps, M.A., LMFT, TBRI Practitioner

This workshop will provide a framework that includes research-based principles and practices, and new strategies that you will be able to apply in your work with at-risk children through the understanding and use of Empowering Principles, Connecting Principles and Correcting Principles.

Participants will understand the basic attachment styles for both children and adults and the resulting positive and negative relational patterns, be aware of the antecedents for secure attachment and gain skills needed to build secure attachment in clients.

In addition, participants will gain understanding of the critical importance of sensory processing for survival and how chronic trauma can negatively impact the proper functioning of the sensory system.
