Instructors: Heidi Blue, MSW

This class will explore the trauma that migrant children face in their countries of origin, throughout the journey and once they arrive to their destinations.

Participants will identify ways to reduce the trauma and provide a nurturing environment. Participants will also learn why families migrate, cultural norms and the impact migrating can have on children’s social, emotional and physical development, plus much more.

Please note, no childcare is provided or available onsite. Do not bring babies or children to class. Thank you!
